Hemaya Kindergarten organizes a school visit program to the Traffic Village to promote traffic and community awareness
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance traffic awareness among children and foster positive relationships between them and community members, Hemaya Kindergarten, in the presence of Lt. Col. Abdullah Al-Suwaidi, Director of Hemaya Schools Office, and his deputy, Lt. Mohammed bin Shafia, organized a school visit program to the Traffic Village. On Wednesday, October 23, 2025, Hemaya Kindergarten hosted students from Jumeirah Kindergarten to participate in a variety of engaging activities and events during the visit.
The event featured an awareness play performed by Hemaya Kindergarten children, along with art activities and interactive workshops conducted by the General Department of Traffic under the supervision of Major Hamid Al-Taheri, Sergeant Haya Al-Amiri, and Sergeant Zainab Waleed. The workshops focused on teaching children the basics of traffic safety, such as the importance of using pedestrian crossings and wearing seat belts. Simplified messages were also presented to emphasize cooperation with police officers during emergencies and to instill a sense of responsibility toward traffic rules. The police mascot “Mansour” took part in reinforcing the values of safety and security while encouraging children to adopt positive behavior. Gifts were also distributed to visitors as a fun way to reinforce what they had learned.
This initiative is part of a broader program of organized awareness visits targeting other kindergartens, in line with Hemaya Schools’ strategy to strengthen community partnership, promote traffic awareness, and help build a generation that adheres to traffic regulations and respects the vital role of security personnel in protecting lives and property.
