National Environment Day at Hemaya Kindergarten

National Environment Day at Hemaya Kindergarten

In celebration of National Environment Day, Hemaya Kindergarten, in cooperation with the General Traffic Department, organized a series of environmental awareness events, under the slogan "Our Roots are the Foundation of Our Future", with the aim of highlighting the noble values and principles adopted by the ancient Emirati society in preserving the environment and protecting nature. These events came to enhance environmental awareness and consolidate these values as a solid foundation on which to build a sustainable future for future generations.

The celebration of National Environment Day, which falls on February 4 of each year, comes in line with the announcement of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, "may God protect him", of 2025 as the "Year of the Community".

The events included fun interactive activities for children, including planting flowers in the kindergarten's outdoor yard, where they were encouraged to take care of them and instill the concept of caring for the environment and preserving the beauty of the place, which enhances in their souls a sense of environmental responsibility from a young age.
