Himaya School Excels at Dubai Police's Forensic Science and Criminology Forum

Himaya School for Boys and Girls made a remarkable contribution to the Forensic Science and Criminology Forum organized by Dubai Police, in the presence of Major General Ahmed Thani Bin Ghalita Al Muhairi, Director of the Department of Forensic Science and Criminology. The school's participation caught the attention of attendees by showcasing a range of innovative projects that reflected the creativity and excellence of the students.

The boys from Himaya School distinguished themselves by presenting four innovative projects focusing on technological and security solutions, under the supervision of Design and Technology teacher Mr. Sayed Fathi. These projects included the "Smart First Aid Box," providing fast and efficient solutions for emergency situations, and the "Smart Runway Project," aimed at improving airport management systems. Other projects included the "Hydraulic Chair for People of Determination," facilitating movement for individuals with special needs, and the "Smart Helmet for Workers," enhancing safety levels at work sites. These ideas were praised by Major General Al Muhairi and the attendees, who commended the students' creativity and the quality of their projects.

On the other hand, the forum witnessed an outstanding contribution from the 12th-grade girls from Himaya School, who were invited by the Forensic Science Team to attend the forum dedicated to university and college students. Under the supervision of Ms. Iktifa Al-Asaad and Ms. Iman Abu Shawish, the students presented a collection of innovative projects aimed at providing solutions that contribute to improving the lives of certain segments of society. The projects received wide acclaim, with encouragement for the students to develop and implement their ideas due to their practical benefits.

The school’s participation received great interaction from the officers and the audience, who praised the level of creativity and innovation demonstrated by the students.
