National Measles Prevention Campaign in UAE Schools

This month, the National Measles Prevention Campaign was launched in schools across the United Arab Emirates, in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority. The campaign aims to provide free vaccinations to students in schools and raise awareness among parents about the mandatory measles vaccination program in schools and nurseries in Dubai.

The campaign was organized at Himaya Kindergarten under the supervision of Ms. Amal Butti, the Safety and Security Officer, in collaboration with the Dubai Police Health Center. Initially, the campaign guide was shared with parents through the communication platform to encourage and inform them about the importance of receiving the vaccine to ensure their protection. Parental consent was obtained to vaccinate their children, who received the vaccine as part of a structured program.
