Hemaya Kindergarten Organises Awareness Workshop and Interactive Activities on Healthy Lunchboxes

Hemaya Kindergarten, in cooperation with the Dubai Police Health Centre, organised an awareness workshop for kindergarten children entitled “The Healthy Lunchbox”, aimed at promoting awareness of the importance of healthy eating and its role in supporting children’s physical and cognitive development.

The workshop was conducted in an engaging and interactive educational environment and was presented by First Lieutenant Khawla Khalid, Dr. Noura Mubarak, and the kindergarten nurse, Rini, under the supervision of the kindergarten’s administrative and teaching staff.

The workshop aimed to introduce children to the fundamentals of healthy nutrition, help them distinguish between healthy and unhealthy foods, familiarise them with the appropriate components of a healthy lunchbox, and encourage positive eating habits from an early age.

The programme featured a range of practical and educational activities, including a group activity to classify healthy and unhealthy foods, as well as an art activity centred on the healthy lunchbox. These activities helped reinforce key health concepts in a simple and engaging manner.

The initiative forms part of the ongoing efforts of Hemaya Kindergarten and the Dubai Police Health Centre to raise health awareness among children and promote positive habits that contribute to building a healthy and active generation.
