Hemaya School for Boys Promotes Health Awareness Through a Personal Hygiene Lecture

As part of Hemaya School for Boys’ commitment to promoting health awareness and reinforcing positive behaviours among students, the school organised an awareness lecture entitled “Personal Hygiene and Its Importance in Our Daily Lives.” The session aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of personal hygiene and its role in maintaining good health and preventing illness.

The lecture addressed a range of essential healthy practices, including regular bathing, proper handwashing with soap and water—particularly before eating and after using the restroom—as well as maintaining good oral, hair, nail, and clothing hygiene.

The session also highlighted the importance of keeping school facilities and the surrounding environment clean, while encouraging students to take responsibility for their own health and the wellbeing of others. It further emphasised the role of healthy habits in supporting overall quality of life both inside and outside school.

The lecture forms part of Hemaya School for Boys’ ongoing efforts to promote health education and encourage positive habits among students, contributing to a safe and healthy learning environment and supporting the adoption of sustainable healthy practices in daily life.
