Hemaya Schools for Girls Organise Awareness Workshop on Medical Conditions and Allergies

2026-10-28

As part of Hemaya Schools for Girls’ commitment to promoting school health and providing a safe learning environment, the school clinic organised an awareness workshop on medical conditions and allergies among students. The workshop was delivered by Dr Noura Mubarak Al Khater, the school clinic physician, in collaboration with school nurse Ms Hiyam Babiker Ali.

The workshop addressed common medical conditions and types of allergies that students may experience within the school environment, how to recognise their symptoms, and the appropriate ways to respond. It also highlighted preventive measures that should be followed to minimise health risks.

The session further covered procedures for responding to medical emergencies and emphasised the importance of prompt action and adherence to approved protocols to ensure students’ safety and provide the necessary care when required.

The workshop aimed to raise health awareness among school staff and enhance the preparedness of teachers and administrative personnel to manage different health conditions effectively, contributing to the protection, safety, and overall wellbeing of students.
