Hemaya Schools for Girls Conduct Evacuation Drill for Cycle 3 Students to Enhance Safety and Emergency Preparedness
As part of Hemaya Schools for Girls’ commitment to strengthening school safety and enhancing awareness of emergency prevention and response procedures, an evacuation drill was conducted for Cycle 3 students in the presence of Civil Defence and the Resilience and Logistics Support Centre.
The drill aimed to train students, teaching staff, and administrative personnel to implement evacuation procedures in a safe and organised manner, identify emergency exits and approved assembly points, and assess overall preparedness and response time during emergency situations.
The exercise also contributed to raising awareness of the importance of complying with safety and security procedures and reinforcing a culture of responsibility and preparedness across the school community.
The initiative forms part of Hemaya Schools for Girls’ ongoing efforts to provide a safe learning environment and strengthen readiness to respond effectively to various emergency situations.
