People of Determination at Hemaya Schools Participate in the Dubai Appreciation Award Through Inclusive Initiatives

As part of its efforts to promote inclusive education and empower People of Determination, Hemaya Schools showcased students’ participation and achievements as part of the Dubai Appreciation Award, through a range of educational and community initiatives aimed at promoting inclusion, strengthening communication, and encouraging active participation within the school community.

The participation includes the sign language team and the “Young Interpreter” initiative, both of which contribute to promoting sign language among students, enhancing positive communication and interaction, and reinforcing the values of cooperation, respect for differences, and equal opportunities.

The programme also features a presentation of key achievements by People of Determination at Hemaya Schools across educational, skills-based, social, and volunteering fields, in addition to presenting the school’s vision and mission in sign language. This reflects the school’s commitment to making communication accessible to all and strengthening an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Student Ahmed Basel also welcomed members of the award evaluation committee and guests with a speech in which he expressed his pride in his school and in the achievements of People of Determination. He highlighted the importance of supporting students and empowering them to showcase their abilities, develop their talents, and pursue their aspirations.

The participation reflects Hemaya Schools’ continued commitment to supporting People of Determination, developing their skills, strengthening their self-confidence, and highlighting their role as active members of society, while promoting a culture of inclusion, innovation, and educational excellence.
