Hemaya School for Boys – Cycles 2 and 3 Conducts Evacuation Drill to Enhance Safety and Emergency Preparedness

As part of Hemaya School for Boys – Cycles 2 and 3’s commitment to strengthening safety and security procedures and enhancing emergency preparedness, the school conducted an evacuation drill with the presence and participation of Dubai Civil Defence.

The drill aimed to train students, teaching staff, and administrative personnel to respond safely and effectively in emergency situations, while also assessing the school’s preparedness and the effectiveness of its approved evacuation and safety procedures.

The evacuation process began with the activation of the emergency alarm. Teachers guided students to leave their classrooms calmly through designated emergency exits, while following safety instructions and avoiding crowding, before proceeding to the approved assembly points.

Once the evacuation was completed, the safety team conducted a headcount and verified the safety of all members of the school community in accordance with approved procedures.

The drill was carried out successfully and in an organised manner, with clear commitment from students and strong cooperation from teaching and administrative staff, reflecting a high level of preparedness and coordination in implementing emergency procedures.

The exercise forms part of the school’s ongoing efforts to promote a strong culture of safety and preparedness and to ensure an effective response to different emergency situations, contributing to a safe learning environment for students and staff.
