Hemaya Boys School Celebrates the 54th UAE National Union Day

As part of its commitment to strengthening students’ sense of belonging, loyalty, and national pride, Hemaya Boys School celebrated the 54th UAE National Union Day on Friday, 14 November, in a festive atmosphere filled with patriotism and pride.

The celebration began with the UAE National Anthem, performed by the school’s music band, as everyone stood in honor and respect for the homeland. This was followed by a variety of segments that highlighted the nation’s identity and celebrated the richness of Emirati heritage.

The event included the following performances:

• Opening Al-Azi performance, expressing pride in the nation and its wise leadership.

• The theatrical play “Zayed and Rashid”, portraying the story of the Union and the values of leadership and wisdom.

• Traditional “Yola” dance, showcasing the authenticity of Emirati heritage.

• Students’ participation in traditional Emirati attire, presented in a beautiful patriotic scene.

• A scientific segment titled “We Tell the Story of a Nation”, using gases and balloons to creatively represent the colors of the UAE flag.

• National Numbers segment, highlighting the achievements of the UAE through facts, figures, and scientific data.

• Additional accompanying activities and programs that enriched the event.

At the end of the celebration, several teachers released balloons in the colors of the UAE flag from the upper floor onto the students gathered in the school courtyard, creating a joyful and highly interactive moment.

The event was attended by Mr. Jamal Al Sheiba, School Principal, and Mr. Ibrahim Al Mulla, Vice Principal, both of whom expressed their pride in the outstanding level of organization and preparation. They also praised the efforts of the administrative and teaching staff in making this cherished national event a success.
