Hemaya Boys Schools Commemorate UAE Martyrs’ Day with a Program Honoring the Nation’s Heroes

As part of its commitment to instilling values of loyalty, sacrifice, and devotion in its students, Hemaya Boys School organized a national program in observance of UAE Martyrs’ Day. The event was prepared and supervised by Mr. Yasser Fahmy, Social Studies Teacher, to honor the memory of the nation’s heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the pride, dignity, and security of the UAE.

The program began with the UAE National Anthem, followed by a moment of silence in remembrance of the martyrs, and the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. A speech was then delivered highlighting the meaning of martyrdom, its noble status, and the vital role played by the martyrs in protecting the nation and safeguarding its achievements.

The program included several meaningful activities expressing pride and gratitude for the sacrifices of the UAE’s brave martyrs, such as:

• Patriotic radio segments recounting the heroism of the martyrs.

• Recitations of national poems, through which students expressed their love for the homeland and their admiration for its courageous heroes.

At the end of the program, the school administration reaffirmed that commemorating Martyrs’ Day aligns with its educational and national mission to strengthen loyalty and belonging to the UAE and its wise leadership. The school also emphasized the importance of nurturing a culture of sacrifice, gratitude, and patriotism among students, praying that Allah bestows His mercy upon the martyrs of the UAE and grants the nation continued security, peace, and prosperity.
