Dubai Police Celebrates World Day for Cultural Diversity at Hemaya Girls' School

As part of the "Positive Spirit" initiative by the General Department of Community Happiness, the Cultural Diversity Section in the Security Awareness Department of Dubai Police, in collaboration with Himaya Girls' School, organized a special event to celebrate World Day for Cultural Diversity on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. The event was attended by the administrative and teaching staff, as well as students.

The event featured participation from Officer Mansour, luxury car displays, an outstanding musical performance, as well as folkloric performances representing multiple cultures. It also included experiences with traditional dishes, henna art, and horseback riding with the cavalry team. Additionally, the event featured various entertainment and interactive activities that enhanced the celebratory atmosphere.

Around 600 people from 25 nationalities participated in the event, supported by 39 volunteers, creating a vibrant scene that embodies the values of diversity and tolerance that characterize the UAE community.

On her part, Ms. Fatima Bouhajir, Chairwoman of the Positive Spirit Council at Dubai Police, praised the efforts of Himaya Girls' School staff in organizing, preparing, and fostering positive interaction among all attendees.

The event had a positive impact on enhancing feelings of happiness and quality of life and received widespread media coverage as part of the Positive Spirit initiative’s efforts to promote the culture of human unity and cultural diversity, in partnership with educational institutions and the local community.
