Hemaya Kindergarten Celebrates World Book Day – April 23, 2025

Himaya Kindergarten is keen to celebrate World Book Day annually, which falls on April 23, out of its strong belief in the importance of books and their pivotal role in developing children's awareness, expanding their imagination, and enhancing their linguistic and cognitive skills.

This special day featured a range of engaging activities and events designed to instill a love for reading in the hearts of children. The celebration began with exciting awareness segments during the morning assembly, highlighting the value of books and their impact on our lives.

The kindergarten administration also honored KG2 students who participated in the “I Read” initiative, in the presence of their supervising teacher, in recognition of their efforts and interaction with the initiative that aims to strengthen reading habits.

The day's program also included a “Storytelling” activity, where students were given the chance to select and narrate their favorite stories in front of their peers, helping them improve their expression and boost self-confidence. In addition, children took part in the “Story Reenactment” activity, where they acted out characters from the stories in a fun and interactive way, reflecting their understanding and engagement.

This celebration reflects Himaya Kindergarten’s dedication to providing a stimulating learning environment that encourages a love for reading and nurtures children’s creative and language skills from an early age.
